Explosion-Proof Sight Lights

Explosion-proof, UL-844 and C-UL/CSA C22.2 listed, electric lighting fixtures are used in hazardous classified locations.

Manufactured in the USA from stainless steel with gasketed joints, these fixtures are suited for corrosive environments and sanitary applications found in the dairy, food, and pharmaceutical industries.

  • The explosion-proof light fixtures can also be easily mounted to existing sight glasses by means of the slotted brackets provided.

    • Note: LED’s emit as much light intensity (Candle Power and Lumen) as a 100 Watt Halogen Bulb and the color is bright white (High Color Temp).

  • However, they do not generate excess heat which is one of the main reasons standard halogen lamps burn out prematurely. Also, due to their limited heat generation, they can be operated continuously without the fixture housing getting hot.
  • Both LED and Halogen lamps are rated for 120 volts and 100 watts makes wiring simple and straightforward.
